Riri is the busiest man in the Indonesia’s dance scene. He serves not just local crowds, but also US, Canada, Australians and Asians. He is DJ’ing alongside the likes of Yellow Claw, Skrillex, Sasha, Above & Beyond, Underworld, Dennis Ferrer, Fedde Le Grand, to name a few, during the formative years of the club scene across Asia. At the age 17, he moved to Europe, where he started his exploration in a small bar at Montreux, Switzerland, “Mayfair Café”. After a few years shaping his DJ techniques, in the year 2000, he came back to Jakarta explored the Indonesian scenes. It took only 3 months until Riri Mestica attracts a brand new club called Retro. He has released five albums until 2016, his first album, Keluarmalam was released in 2004 and it was the first bridge between dance music and his production concept for the ‘Live Act’. This album really set another chapter for dance music in Indonesia, which has sold up to 12.000 pieces & a repackage of 15.000 cds in 2008/2009, plus 300.000 subscribes for his Ring Back Tone “Rusty Guitar”. 

Now he has already album “Stereo Mestica” with “Endless Rue”, “Unspoken” with the hits single “Last Call”. The single “Last Call” won the INDONESIA CUTTING EDGE AWARD 2010. He was crowned No.1 DJ in Indonesia’s Top Ten DJ Paranoia Award 2007. He won the local grammy’s AMI Award for the best Dance Track for ‘Fadeaway’. He is the undisputed #1 Indonesia DJ 2010 & 2011 by REDMA Awards. His Stereo Mestica Album and Endless Rue track also won the Ravelex Dance Music Awards. In 2009, he was chosen for the 2nd time to be the only Indonesian performed in 2010 F1 Singapore FUEL party, after 2003 Zouk Out and previous year F1 Singapore Party. Business wise, He was chosen as one of the 10 best young music entrepreneur in Indonesia who nominated in Indonesia Young & Creative Entrepreneur 2008 by British Council. He also runs Spinach Talent Development & Agency, dj academy and Kedaikopi 89 right at the central of Kemang, Jakarta.
